I Got a Hug from the Jimmy Dean Sun at BlogHER ’11
by Rebecca E. Parsons

I was fortunate enough to spend time with the Jimmy Dean Sun while I was at BlogHER ’11 in San Diego. I did an interview with him about how he became the sun…I will share that interview when I get my Big Mac back with it’s fancy new hard drive!!! I am working on a netbook w/o any of my graphics programs.
I love Jimmy Dean because of their comittment to the No Kid Hungry campaign. 1 in 4 children do not know where there next meal is coming from in the US. Visit their website or FaceBook page to take the pledge against hunger.
It is with great pride and excitement that we announce that Jimmy Dean is partnering with national nonprofit Share Our Strength to launch the No Kid Hungry Campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015!
Since this is a dark and dreary day as Hurricane Irene make her way past us here in Florida leaving much needed rain behind…I could use another hug big guy!!! Praying that the east coast is spared damage and chaos from this massive hurricane…thinking of you who are in harms way this weekend!!!

Looks like an AWESOME program.
YES, thinking of all those in Irene’s path and glad you got some much needed rain out of it & that’s all.
Hey, I recognize the place that pic was taken…fun time for sure! Glad the storm has moved on! Hoping that it’s not as destructive as they are saying and everyone is prepared and safe!
