The Story Of An Artful Tea with Bigelow

by Rebecca E. Parsons

Once upon a time there was an artist who loved to take tea after her early morning walk on the marshes of her little island. She says, “I come back to my little garden, brew a pot of tea and sketch. This morning I am inspired by Plantation Mint tea from Bigelow…

Bigelow Teaand this beautiful cardinal and his family that live in my garden.”

Bigelow TeaSo it all started when I headed to Walmart to pick up a few things for my memorial Day bash. Just look at that flag flying in the stormy sky…how inspiring is that?

I am on a mission to check out the tea selections and buy a box of Bigelow Tea. Now that is not a hardship by any means as I already love Bigelow Teas.  So it was a fun shopping trip…check it out and see my path to purchase of Bigelow teas at Walmart in this slide show.

Bigelow makes two of my very favorite teas…see them below…don’t you just love those also? I love the Plantation Mint hot or cold. I always brew extra in the early morning so I can enjoy a glass over ice later in the day. YUMMMMM!!!

But I do so love to indulge in the soothing ritual of tea…just like it says on the box below…I love those purple Impatients too…the bed under my water fountain soothes me also.

So I boil the water…

Bigelow TeaMy sketch is complete after two cups of tea…I scan it and print it on a page from an old magazine…the title of the page is The Secret Society…I sort of feel like I have a secret society with my cardinal family. They come every morning and evening to eat from my bird feeder and bathe in the bird bath. They make me smile…and brighten my ‘me’ time every morning…sometimes they even pose for photos…
