PhotoShop Designer 5 – Basic Digital Painting with Tablet & Stylus $148

4 weeks-4 Lessons in Video and PDF format  Self-paced class begins anytime

If you are interested in learning to create concept art, enhance your photos or simply learn to use your Wacom (or other) tablet and stylus, PSD 5 is the class for you.

In this captivating project-based class students will learn basic digital painting techniques from the inside out. Using PhotoShop Elements (a free trail version is available to use during the class.) A great way to get your feet wet in PhotoShop.

PSD5 is the first of two advanced technique classes in this series. We will go deeper into creating your own painted elements within the PSE framework. The student will begin to learn actual painted brushwork, shading and shadowing techniques to turn objects into a painting. There is a unique way to add brush strokes to your photos within Photoshop to convert any of your photographs into paintings just like you were using oils or acrylics on canvas. In previous classes in this series we have been using filters to do the artistic effects…now we will learn how to do them one stroke at a time. Brushwork is something we have just flirted with up until now! It is advisable to have a Wacom pad and stylus for this class…but you can get some good results with a mouse.
