It is a big commitment to undertake a 90-Day Summer Simplifying Challenge or any 90 day blog posting series for that matter. Read my 90-Day Summer Simplifying Manifesto!!
A Recovering Magpie’s Commitment
Sometimes I think I must have been crazy to even begin a 90-day anything. Making a commitment to post daily for three months is either a stroke of genius or pure insanity. The a 90-Day Summer Simplifying Challenge moves on regardless of my madness. 🙂
{Coming clean} I am enjoying this journey!
My Summer Simplifying Challenge
As committed as I am to my Summer Simplifying Challenge, I now find I have no choice. I actually wake excited to see what is on my plate this day. I am enjoying the process…FINALLY!!! I look forward to what is in each box, I celebrate the contents and then let it go.
Some of the things will remain with us and some will move on tho their next home. They each served me well and served a purpose for a season of my life. Now I am entering a new season, full of hope and a little lighter.
The 90-Day Summer Simplifying Challenge has allowed me to grow in ways I could never have imagined 56 days ago. I simply intended to clear my life of stuff. The clearing away of material stuff opened the doors for a clearing of physical, emotional and spiritual stuff as well. Who knew this process would bring so many side benefits with it?
I am amazed at this awakening I am experiencing. It seems as though all facets of my life have been touched by this journey. I am finding that the letting go is letting other things come in to my life. I guess that I have finally made room for good things to flood in…and they have.
I am more peaceful and more comfortable in my own skin today. I am more relaxed in many areas of my life. I understand and have worked out what is important to me…and what is not. Stuff is not weighing me down any longer.
