This weekend I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the Gordon Ramsey Everyday collection at KMart. It all happened during the Cheap Sally Dance Party at BlogHER ’11 in San Diego. As a cook and a lifestyle foodie blogger…let me tell you I was blown away by these oh so cool and fashionable kitchen items…and the prices will astound you. See for yourself…
Don’t you just love them??? Sure to fit into any kitchen, the line includes small appliances, cookware, cutlery, knives, cooking utensils, dishes and gadgets galore…wait till you see these in your KMart in September.
It is almost impossible for me to choose my favorite item from this collection. I do have a fondness, however, for the beautifully designed Food Chopper…it is compact, has a glass bowl and costs under $30!!! That is destined to be part of my kitchen soon as is the nifty 12 speed Blender with a feature where you can carry your smoothie with you in the included thermal travel mug…how easy is that for your busy morning?? The Panini and Cuban Sandwich Maker is non-stick w/adjustable temp controls. Did I mention that all of these are under $30…
I also have a great desire for any appliance that can keep my kitchen cool during the long hot days in Florida. The above slow cooker does just that. It is programmable, dishwasher safe and again under $30.
The cookware has a really good feel in your hands…important to this cook. It comes in stainless and non-stick in red and black in 10-piece sets and individual pieces. The set is only $99!!! The knives look amazing and I am so after that Santoku knife with bamboo cutting board…
Kmart has reached out to the blogging community and I, along with the other ambassadors*, worked the KMart cabana during the party…tweeting and sharing this awesome new line with the partygoers. What a cushy job!!! People loved the collection and gave the thumbs up to their favorite items…look for more bloggers to share their faves on their blogs over the next few months. I so encouraged them to share and tweet!!!
The Gordon Ramsay Everyday collection will debut in September at Kmart stores. Kmart will be the exclusive retailer for these are really upscale small appliances and miscellaneous items for the oh so special kitchen and the oh so special chef!!
Gordon Ramsay, one of the world’s most famous Michelin-starred chefs known for a fiery personality and culinary prowess…is a TV star, entrepreneur and successful restaurateur.
