I strive to be the best I can be in everything I do. Sometimes I succeed and other times not so much. The goodness is found within the effort. I challenge myself and you to rise above ourselves in answer to someone else’s need or assist in someone else’s dream this week.
Honest When Life Isn’t Working
If we are honest with ourselves, we admit when life isn’t working. Dysfunction enters our world in a myriad of ways. Life doesn’t work when our relationships are crippled by hurt feelings, anger, or a lack of forgiveness. Life doesn’t work when we take on too many responsibilities just to please others. Life doesn’t work when we become the slave of our bad habits. Life does not work when we pretend everything is fine.
Ignoring Intuition
And life doesn’t work when we ignore our own vast intuition. Are you denying the stressors that are eating you alive? Are you pushing through a debilitating depression? Are you holding steadfast to resentments? Are you ignoring profound unhappiness?
Go Within – Have the Courage to be Honest
Overwhelm and overload arrive at your doorstep uninvited and unwelcome. How do you cope? Are those coping methods working for you? Do they bring healing or do they allow you to keep living in a unhealthy way?
Whatever the challenge, I encourage you to sit in stillness and listen to your soul this week. Go within. Ask for answers and guidance. Ask for peace. Ask for help. Then wait to hear what your spirit is saying.
Allow the Healing to Begin
This is the step we most often neglect. Opening ourselves to allow healing into our lives is not easy. We are clogged by so much noise and visual clutter. We rarely take time to go within. And this is where the healing begins to form. Within is not a scary place to avoid at all costs. Within yourself are all the answers, all the love, and all the healing. You have the power to heal and to rise above yourself this week. Go within my friends…go within.
