Soup Can art Installation ~ The Cafeteria, NYC

written by Rebecca E. Parsons

I was recently in New York for the opening of The Museum of Chocolate Art. You can read all about it here and here. After the gala event where I interviewed Vanessa Williams, the voice of Ms. Brown M&M, Matt Garcia of Collective Bias took us out for a late night dinner at The Cafeteria in Chelsea. We were seated in a private room with this art installation…

As an every day soup eater, I loved the idea of the art wall. And to celebrate I had their delicious Tomato Basil soup…with Mini Fontina Grilled Cheese. Most of my companions had the Mac Attack…a cup of each of their three mac and cheese dishes, original Cafeteria Mac and Cheese, with smoked Gouda and bacon and with truffle oil!!!

The place was hopping even late at night…great food and conversation. I would recommend a visit if in NYC.

My day is not going to be complete if I don’t manage to figure out a way to have a trio of Mac & Cheese. That looks awesome!
