Congratulations…

You are a member of Do What You Love WEBucation Workshop

The Art of Doodle Portraits

The class begins on 8/9/2010

I am thrilled that you will be part of the journey!!!

The Syllabus for The Art of Doodle Portraits is below. I am so excited that you have decided to join the class. The week before the class, I will be sending you information to log into the FAMM e-school.

The class is in a forum format. You will be given an access password to enter as often as you like from 8/9 – 9/30/2010. You can post pictures of your work in the gallery, you can join discussions with other students (a great benefit of WEBucation), or you can just go in and download your lessons and work through them as you like on your timeline. Everyone is different in how they learn, so I cover all bases…visual, auditory, and written.

Starting on August 9th, I will release a lesson every Monday for 4 weeks. All the course materials will be released by August 23rd. The classroom stays open until September 30th, so there is ample time to do the course even if you join the last week!! You can work along with the lessons as they are released or you can choose to work all the lessons in a row.

You also have access to me, via the forum, every week day (M-F) throughout the class period. I will check twice a day for questions. I will answer them in the forum so everyone can benefit from them…just like in a real classroom.

I am most excited about the bonuses for this course….you will be able to publish your work in a Student Gallery, PLUS you have the opportunity to be part of an Online Exhibit at Cre8Tive Compass dot com.

Class Description

Part 3 of Rebecca’s ongoing Doodle Series. Even if you have never ever drawn anything before, you will learn to create beautiful Doodle Portraits…what some say is the most difficult thing to draw! Even if you think you can’t draw, you will make beautiful Doodle Portraits from the first day of class. In this course you will learn the formula for facial feature placement, how to quickly sketch and shade features, then colorize them with mixed media tools like watercolor pencils, acrylics, etc. You will also learn how to create one of Rebecca’s beautiful textured and layered backgrounds.
