A Recovering Magpie’s Crazy Day
You read about the ceiling fan falling down yesterday. Yes, the handyman came and fixed it. Despite our best efforts, I was not able to fix my arm. It is bruised, sore and painful. The a 90-Day Summer Simplifying Challenge, goes on regardless.
{Coming clean} I am a little out of sorts today! HIMself is in the doghouse for now!
My Summer Simplifying Challenge
The inspection was uneventful. Angle came and was more interested in my art and decor than the house. My Summer Simplifying Challenge is proving itself when the property manager just sees good things. 🙂
We had breakfast with good friends prior to the inspection. We chatted about the ceiling fan, our resulting injuries and the 90-Day Summer Simplifying Challenge. It was a good time and I am beginning to find the humor in the incident even though my arm is still aching. HIMself is babying his bad ankle that was broken a few years ago. He says he hurt it sliding down my arm. HARUMPH….
Today’s Accomplishments
- The house is clean and orderly.
Today’s Setbacks
- We took a day off to heal from the adventures of yesterday.
