This week’s BE Vitamin is Vitamin BE YOU…

Sometimes this is the most difficult one for me to swallow. You know those voices in your head that say, “You are not good enough.” “Your art will never sell.” “Your art is not as good as ____ art.”

I am sure you have had inner mean girl/boy that always pops up to put a voice your fears and insecurities? I have attempted to silence her many times in the past…I even sent her to Reform School!!! I have come to accept that IMG for exactly what she is…MY BIGGEST FEARS!!!

Now when she pays an unwelcome visit, I know that it is time for me to take the BE YOU vitamin! The BE YOU Vitamin is full of affirmations and positive energy. I must tell myself, “You are the only you you can be…the original…so be a first rate you, not a second rate somebody else. Make your art, your way and NEVER let anyone get in the way of what you are trying to say!”
