I love when readers take me to task and point out to me the obvious and not-so-obvious faults of my work … it is a way to keep me honest and, well, working to improve!
Suzy Quader of sqdesign.biz commented on the non-functioning of several items on the magazine:
You seem to have some non-funtioning items on the web site. Lots of headings that do nothing when clicked on, a list of SEO opt. words on one side, etc. and somewhat confusing. Looks like it needs a little work.
Suzy, you are so right about the current non-functioning departments and columns. Publishing this magazine has been a massive undertaking for me with more than a few kinks along the way. When the Board of Advisors and I decided to re-brand the magazine earlier this year, several tasks vaulted to the top of my to-do list while some of the content (departments and columns) fell far behind.
I am happy to announce that all these urgent tasks have been checked off my list and I can return to establishing and fleshing out the departments, columns and features to further the mission of Cre8tive Compass...showing artisans the way to make a living doing what they love!
Please remember that Cre8tive Compass Magazine is in the initial building phase. New features, stories, activities and much more will be added over the next few months. This is YOUR magazine and any suggestions or ideas for stories are ALWAYS welcome in my inbox.
Please leave a comment telling me what you need from YOUR magazine.
