DIY Ghost Mirror ~ Haunted Halloween Decor

written by Rebecca E. Parsons

OMGhoulness…I love Krylon Looking Glass Paint B-O-O!!!

I created this Ghoulish Ghostly Ghost Mirror with Krylon Looking Glass paint. I shared the mirror first in 2011 but the tutorial disappeared by some otherworldly ghostly event. So I then provided the step-by-step tutorial in 2012. This is great for Halloween parties and events, or used as a Halloween prop just to scare Trick or Treaters on your doorstep on Halloween night!!

Haunted Halloween Decor

I found a replica of my Ghost Mirror in Country Living Magazine last year. Sadly, no mention of MY mirror was given…so I am mentioning it  just because! I was a little bummed because I worked really hard on this ghost mirror creation way back in Halloween of 2011. This was how I staged it this year!!!

I placed it on the floor surrounded by pumpkins last year. (below image) I love the way it displays the seethrough-ness of the mirror in this image. It is really creepy because you look in the mirror and there is another face shining through below yours. See how it becomes my best haunted Halloween decor item every year?

Honestly, this haunted Halloween decor project is so easy, it is almost silly to tell you how I did this. The hardest part was finding the Krylon Looking Glass paint. You can order it from the Internet. below is the image I used with a cracked mirror. It was done in Photohop…may favorite tool! If you would like to use my face, feel free to print it and try your own version of my DIY Ghost Mirror.

If you create one, please share with me!!!
