Steve Jobs said: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
I love what I do. Every day I am blessed to be able to communicate…through my art, through my blogs and magazine, through my radio shows, through my workshops and my books, through FaceBook and Twitter. How many ways are there for me to do what I love?
And I hope, that through them all, I am doing great work as Steve calls it. This work that I am doing fuels my soul and feeds this passion with energy to continue on when I am not sure that anyone notices or cares. I paint, I draw, I write and I trust the universe will bring to me the people who are meant to be touched by my work.

It’s wise to listen to someone like Steve Jobs.
Funny, no matter how big and successful he gets, I often get the impression that he still thinks like an entrepreneur. He’s not afraid of risks and he’s not afraid of making mistakes. He’s also not afraid of being unapologetic.
These are all traits that, I think, every artist could use more of.
damien…i agree…steve jobs certainly believed in organically creating a business…masterful words, if one would listen…thanks for stopping by.
