Confronting fear and discomfort seems to be a daily ritual of mine. All those doubts and inner voices that speak to my worth, or lack thereof, must be embraced and dealt with regularly. As an entrepreneurial woman with creative sensibilities, I must consistently remind myself that my visionary concepts are leading me down the right path…I must DO in order to BE!!!
Today on Seth Godin’s blog he states a simple truth,” Studying entrepreneurship without doing it…is like studying the appreciation of music without listening to it.”
The cost of setting up a lemonade stand (or whatever metaphorical equivalent you dream up) is almost 100% internal. Until you confront the fear and discomfort of being in the world and saying, “here, I made this,” it’s impossible to understand anything at all about what it means to be a entrepreneur. Or an artist. -Seth Godin
So I am DOing some Spring cleaning at the moment. Trying to clear the cobwebs of doubt that keep me from achieving the greatness I am destined for. Sometimes washing the kitchen drawers is the answer…I have the vision and the flexibility to adapt, an openness to quality feedback, and the ability to learn. Persistence and execution to come…
