Alumni students who refer a friend to take a Folk School class will receive a $100 voucher on tuition for their next class. Also new students to the Folk School will receive the same $100 off offer.

Folk School Alumni:

Refer a friend (a new student) to the Folk School and save $100.* When your friend calls to register and mentions your name, you’ll receive a voucher for $100 off your next class!

New Students: Save $100 off tuition on your first class.**

How this works:

1. Please read the complete details below.
2. If you are registering online, you must type the name of the person who referred you in the “comments” section of your registration.
3. If you are registering by phone, you must let us know the name of the friend who referred you at the time of your registration.
4. Our registration staff will deduct $100 from your invoice once they verify that you are a new student. (If you are registering online, this offer is not programmed into our website. Our staff will adjust your amount owed and your credit card will be billed the adjusted amount. You will receive an invoice and confirmation by email.)

The fine print…

• Folk School Alumni: Refer a friend and save $100 on your next class! Refer a new student to the Folk School and you’ll receive a $100 voucher that you can apply towards tuition on your next class.
• This offer is available for a limited time only.
• The “Tell a Friend About the Folk School” referral program is valid for New Student referrals for full-priced 6-night, 5-night, Week+Weekend, or Weekend+Week classes scheduled July 18, 2010 through December 31, 2010.
• The New student must call the office to register by phone and give the name of the person who referred them at the time of registration in order for the referrer to receive the $100 voucher.
• The referring student will receive the $100 voucher by mail. The voucher can be used towards tuition on any full-priced 6-night, 5-night, Week+Weekend, or Weekend+Week class. The voucher cannot be applied to registration fees, studio fees, materials fees, housing & meals, or cash refund. The voucher will be good for one year from the date on the voucher. The voucher cannot be used for classes in which the recipient has previously registered or combined with other offers or discounted programs, including local class rates, or instructor resources, etc. Only one voucher may be used per class registration at the Folk School.
• The referring student must be an alumni of the school, meaning that they have taken classes at the Folk School prior to referring the New Student.
• The New Student who is referred must not have previously taken a class at the Folk School.
• The referring student and the New Student do not have to attend the same class or the same week.
• This voucher is non-transferable.
• This program does not apply to new student referrals and/or registrations made prior to July 18, 2010.

The Fine Print:
• For a limited time only, beginning July 18, 2010, all New Students can save $100 on tuition for any full-priced 6-night, 5-night, Week+Weekend, or Weekend+Week class with space available that is scheduled through December 31, 2010.
• Discount valid towards tuition only. The discount cannot be applied to registration fees, studio fees, materials fees, housing & meals, or cash refund.
• The New student must not have previously taken a class at the Folk School.
• This offer does not apply to registrations made prior to July 18, 2010.
