Things I love to Cook and Eat…Being from the south, you know we love some peach cobbler at this house. When the trees become laden with peaches we pick them and can them to enjoy all year. There is nothing quite like the taste of fresh picked peaches from the tree…YUMMM!
Recently I was challenged to create a recipe with Del Monte Diced Peaches with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar #delmonte. I thought about draining them and putting them on my breakfast biscuits, but not much cooking there. Last night I was wanting something sweet but not the candy overload sweet from Halloween…
So I opened up this little fruit cup and added some oatmeal on the top…microwaved it for 1 minute 30 seconds…and wow I had a great 3-minute Peach Cobbler!!!
3-minute Peach Cobbler Recipe
This is so easy, it feels like cheating. But this would be such a wonderful, quick treat for unexpected guests, I plan to keep these Del Monte Diced peaches in my pantry at all times!!!
Ingredients
2 Del Monte Dices peaches fruit cups (drained)
2 T quick oatmeal
1 tsp. brown sugar
Greek Yogurt for garnish
Technique
- Drain the juice from the fruit cups (save for another recipe). Place peaches in microwaveable bowl.

- Mix oatmeal and brown sugar and sprinkle on top of peaches.

- Microwave for 1-1/2 minutes, just until heated through. Cool for 1 minute and top with yogurt. Enjoy
