Things are heating up in the search for M&M’s White Chocolate Candy Corn candies. So much so, I was interviewed this week by Mara Rubin of 101.9 FM News New York about the nationwide hunt for M&M’s White Chocolate Candy Corn candies. #MMsGetCorny is getting pretty popular and bags being scalped on eBay and Amazon for upwards of $10…they retail for $2.48. Only available in Walmart, the buzz has grown over the past few months in anticipation for this creamy confection that will just be here for the Halloween season. Bloggers all over the country have been writing about the orange, yellow and white M&M’s.

The buzz was created entirely by less than 100 bloggers nationwide who began blogging about the M&M’s Candy Corn in late July and August. It was part of a campaign managed by Collective Bias. Collective Bias facilitates the creation of real shopper media by connecting groups of social media influencers to the brands and retailers they use in their daily lives.
Their Social Fabric™ community drove the conversations for M&M’s White Chocolate Candy Corn candies on a wide variety of social media platforms in order to build consumer engagement and brand loyalty that ultimately leads to sales conversion. The #MMsGetCorny hashtag is used to identify the conversations on Twitter and FaceBook.
I was asked to be the Social Fabric lead for the M&M’s campaign. So far over 100 bloggers have contributed to the campaign creating blog posts, YouTube videos, Tweets and FaceBook status updates. We have provided the brand with several million impressions so far and the number is growing daily.
Right now we have a contest with 40 entries for crafts and recipes created with M&M’s White Chocolate Candy Corn candies. Click on the logo above to see these amazing creations and vote for your favorite!!!
