Writing Your Bio…

I am the newest team member at Life Gloss…sparkle for your soul. Here is my first article: The Fortune Your Need.

So the bubbly editor of Life Gloss Jennifer Tuma-Young asked me to write a bio with a few guidelines for structure. No one should be defined or constrained by their bio. It is not easy to capture your essence in a few bullet points I learned…especially when your essence is a big as mine!!! LOL

So here is what I ended up with:

I believe a bio is but a fleeting glimpse of a multidimensional being…so here goes it: I feel equally at home drinking diet coke on my lanai and sipping tea at the White House. I am a Boomer Geek Girl (BGG) and Chief Creative Force (CCF) with my head in the clouds and one foot (only one) planted firmly on the ground. I am comfortable speaking geek, pitching a softball, meditating along the shores of Amelia Island, playing slots of Vegas, negotiating a 6-figure deal, digging through dusty flea markets, dancing till dawn, living with a family in France while learning to paint, discussing fractals or chatting with Joseph the vet vagabonding in the picnic shelter by the beach. I have experienced the full spectrum of this one wild adventure I call my life…from being fully alive and healthy to being unable to walk, from financial security to living beneath no means. I am passionate that my life lessons will not be in vain for they have taught me to believe that everything is possible and that possible is everywhere YOU are!!

In a nutshell…

* I love diet coke and Jasmine tea and sweet dark red cherries.
* I take long meditative walks along the beach every morning.
* I love to cook and iron, hate to wash dishes.
* I have been smitten with my computer since 1983.
* I love spontaneous bouts of laughter and walking barefoot in the rain.

My Mission: I am on a quest to help myself and others find our visual voice, embrace our uniqueness, learn to trust our inner wisdom and then find the courage to share it with the world…and have a blast along the way!!! This is the quest for Cre8Topia!

* Love to listen for I know very artist has a story and I am determined to hear them all…therefore I have 2 artsy radio shows (Artistically Speaking and FAMM Live) and am working on my first TV show.
* Teach art and creativity workshops online and throughout the world. 2011 will see the launch of my spiritual creativity retreats for artists – Cre8Topia TM and The Artist as a Spiritual Explorer TM.
