DIY Series: I Want to Cook in this…Colorful Hip #Kitchen!

written by Rebecca E. Parsons

Bing Bang Pop…

I am grooving on this kitchen by Urbanspace Interiors in Austin, Texas. They built this amazing kitchen in their showroom. I am usually a traditional kitchen gal, but the bold graphic walls pulled me right in. I am warming to the sleek lines and modern accents. They created a kitchen that I would love to cook in!!! I am so inspired by this kitchen I am launching a new DIY Series called  I Want to Cook in this…Kitchen!

The  white Silestone countertops bounce and pop the colors of the wallpaper back splash – Flavor Paper’s Cuben design. The linear lines of the cabinets and floor, invite you in. I especially love the two Kartell Masters Chairs (bottom photo) in white. This kitchen makes a power statement for it’s surprisingly simple design. To learn about the entire design from concept to finished kitchen, visit the blog at Urbanspace Interiors.

This kitchen is lovely. Clean lines and it’s also happy. It faces out onto the rest of the house so you can see what’s going on and chat with everyone and not feel alone. It’s also 10 times as big as mine here in NYC.

What an awesome interior! It is missing only one colorful and modern lighting fixtures. Something like this will surely fit well> interior-deluxe.com/sama-pendant-light-p2340.html
Of course, my kitchen cannot compare with this one, but as you already said – we can keep on dreaming! 🙂
