Every artist wants to find that deep, deep connection within themselves and with their spirit. I have attempted throughout my lifetime to emulate other artists I admired. Now I am finally comfortable in my own creative skin and use my visual voice every day to, hopefully, change the world with my art.
You must make art that is meaningful to you, makes your heart sing and brings you joy. You must be passionate about the process, not the outcome, for it to resonate with other people. Art that makes the connection is the art that the world remembers. When you art is aligned with who you are, it is magical and you leave behind a truthful footprint!
Above are several versions of a series of artworks created for my new PhotoShop e-course that starts in October. We will be exploring creative ways to use PhotoShop to enhance and engage your creative process by going new directions. Your original art and photos can be used or you can create original digital paintings and then embellish them with traditional art materials. Either way, you exercise different art muscles and activate more creativity. Click on the photos to see the different versions.
