I recently met Rita Barakat of Let’s Embellish Blog on the Socially Sensible Creatives FaceBook group. When she posted this photo, I was over the top smitten. You know how I love faces and I paint faces in every artwork I create…even my murals. So I am thrilled to share a few pics of her beautiful studio that is part of Where Bloggers Create 2013! (Editor’s note: I could not quite figure out how to visit the other blogs in the blog hop…if you figure it out please let me know so I can visit more!!!)
The fairie faces are outstanding and have given me ideas (oh my!!!) for updating my horrible kitchen cabinets. But that’s a long, boring story. Rita is amazing and her studio is, well…rockin’ it!!! I am so pleased to share a few pics of her studio tour…for more just click the link back there <– or below when you finish drooling over the photos!
Isn’t that an amazing creative space? I have asked Rita to be on Artistically Speaking Talk Show. So keep an eye out on my FaceBook and Twitter feeds to see when she joins me to chat about her work and her life as a creative soul!!!
She says she is going to paint this wall neutral…(insert my sad face here), but I love it just the way it is. Of course, my color scheme of choice is turquoise and coral, so I WOULD love it!!! I think it makes the room sing!!! Just sayin’.
So head over to Rita’s blog (you can click the image above) and tell her Rebecca from Creative Compass Magazine sent you!!! Enjoy!!!
I am just drooling over your gorgeous studio! Love the paintings on the Cupboards! What fun to create in that space! Love!
