Morning Meditation Routine
Every morning I curl up with my She Reads Truth Bible, a cup of hot tea, and some colorful markers on my lanai (screened porch). Now that there is a little chill in the air, I cuddle up under a warm throw. I usually read and study one book at a time. During Advent, I read select passages about Joseph and Mary and their journey to bring Jesus into the world. It is how I respond to His invitation.
I have a Facebook Group called Art as Prayer. Each morning I post a Morning Meditation on the group and on Instagram with an artwork I create for the Bible passage I am reflecting on for the day. I share my thoughts to start a conversation and encourage my readers to pause for even a moment and think about God. This is my passion, my purpose, and my calling all rolled into one!! I can connect with Jesus, create art, and spread His Word.
The She Reads Truth Bible
The She Reads Truth Bible comes beautifully packaged in a storage box. It is a bright peach color that looks great displayed on the living room table. It has gold engraved markings and lettering alone the spine and front cover. But the inside is jam packed with awesomeness.
At the beginning of each book, you get a handy Read and Understand overview with a timeline illustration that takes you to the time and place. There is also a 4-week reading plan for every book of the She Reads Truth Bible. It gives you cross reference Scriptures for going deeper with certain passages. They have thought of everything!
It is masterfully designed for the reader. Kudos to the art director and graphic designers. The colors and layout give it a modern look and feel. Features include: almost 200 devotionals, 66 artist-designed key verses, 35 full-color timelines, 20 full-color maps, 11 full-color charts, reading plans for every book of the Bible, one-year Bible reading plan, detailed book introductions, key verse list, carefully curated topical index, smyth-sewn binding, two colored ribbon markers, and wide margins for journaling and note-taking.
I am just starting to do Bible Journaling with my reading and thoughts. The She Reads Truth Bible has plenty of space for this plus colorful illustrations of key verses.
