Sunday Inspiration Image #76 Photography by Rebecca E. Parsons

written by Rebecca E. Parsons

I am straying a little from my usual images of nature this week. I am including a vignette from my home that displays my Tea Bag Art. I save all my Bigelow Tea bags to use in my art. They are amazing surfaces for paint, stain, stamping, drawing, etc. They can also be glued to canvas for a wonderful texture. I sometimes sew them or embroider them

Vignette with Tea Bag Art

I drink a lot of Bigelow Tea. This year I have replaced my diet soda with the much more healthful tea. My favorite tea is Plantation Mint. It is amazingly uplifting hot and just plain delightful iced. I have so many tea bags, I began use them in my art. They prove to be an awesome surface for painting, stamping, texturing and so much more. The stained fiber is naturally beautiful, strong and using them for art keeps them from the landfill.
