The Art of the Handwritten Note and Ideal Stamps from Stamp Xpress

written by Rebecca E. Parsons

I love to send and receive handwritten notes. Don’t you? Even if it is just a quick “I love you” to my children, I believe it is the highest form of love and respect I can give to the recipient of my notes. It means a lot to me to preserve this special form of communication in this day of e-mail and texts. When you look through your snail mail each day, don’t you gravitate to a hand-addressed letter first? I certainly do.

writing a note

I moved this year, and none of the bizillion address labels we have work any more. Geesh!! I am researching custom rubber stamps. Of course I know all about crafting rubber stamps, but I am not so up on the kind of stamps you use to add your address to things. I found StampXpress.com offers a large collection of rubber stamps that will solve my dilemma.

I found that they offer a large collection of rubber stamps, custom self inking stamps, date stamps, address stamps, notary stamps and more. I am thinking I want an Ideal Stamps custom self inking stamp because I can design my own custom self inking stamp right there in the StampXpress online store. Ideal Stamps are available in a bunch of colors – Black, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Light Green, Light Blue, Brown and Pink.  They also offer free shipping on orders over $10! That is awesome indeed.

I kind of like the round one for my crafting and artwork. I think it would be a good way to add a special mark on my work. I can also use the regular straight line personalized Ideal rubber stamp for addressing my envelopes, postcards and thank you notes. Since these stamps are self-inking, I won’t need messy stamp pads and ink. I also like the embossers…how cool is it to emboss envelopes?

Ideal Stamps is known for making high quality rubber stamps and stamping products. It seems simple to choose the size and shape I need and then begin the customization process.

Do you still write letters by hand? Are you an e-mail or a text person? Let me know if you like to write letters and your thoughts on the subject. I would love to know.
