Next weekend is the Big Game for many Americans. Since the game is in New Orleans, there will be parties and festivities galore. My theme this year is Mardi Gras and I will be sharing ideas, recipes and more all week. Of course pizza will be a part of the feast as always…HIMself must have pizza on the spread!
We have a new favorite pizza line – American Flatbread and Rustic Crust products. I love flatbread and have it almost every day for breakfast with hummus. So we were thrilled when we were given the opportunity to try these:
- Basil and Sea Salt Ciabatta Flatbread
- Twisted 6 Cheese American Flatbread
- Farmer’s Tomato Pie American Flatbread
- Sliced Tomato and 5 Cheese American Flatbread
HIMself loved everything and said we had to serve these at our BigGameParty!! Just add a little side salad with vinaigrette and goat cheese and you have a yummy, easy to prepare meal. For the game, just let them grab and devour!!!
I fell hard for the Basil and Sea Salt Ciabatta Flatbread (below). Oh My Goodness…I can think of a dozen ways to serve it. This time, we just pulled apart and dipped in a lovely lemon infused olive oil!!!
We had a blast trying all the flatbreads in our sampler. They are all rich in flavor and the American Flatbread is crispy for that extra crunch. I hope you will make them part of your #BigGameParty next weekend. They will be part of our future game days because I bet they are great grilled too!!! Tailgate!!!!
