I {HEART} Glidden’s Brilliance Collection 2-in-1 paint and primer from Walmart. I had some dark and decorative painted (faux finished) wall to cover. I was especially worried about covering this mural…
I chose Sunbeam…a bright and cheerful yellow to cover three walls…it did take two coats, but that is way less than I expected as you sometimes have a problem going lighter on a wall!!! I was pleasantly surprised!!!
As you see here the mural is gone and the walls are happy. I painted the fourth wall Granny Smith Apple green…a luscious color indeed!!! I have very special plans for this wall…so stay tuned for part 3 of the makeover… so here we go a painting…

How to Paint Outlet Covers:
First, I clean the outlet and switch covers well and let them dry. I then spray them with a good primer (I use BIN).
I allow the primer to dry according to directions and then roll the plates with the roller I use to paint the wall. Simple and it makes the room look so finished!!!
