Words Don’t Fail Me Now!
Months have passed since I was asked to speak at SoFabCon. Oh how I have wanted to spill the beans. I even dropped a hint or two on FaceBook. Now I can use my gift o’ gab to tell you what we are sharing at the May conference for bloggers and brands. My cohort for the storytelling session will be writer and Collective Bias VP, Brad Lawless. He passionately believes in writing stories defined by an economy of words and an abundance of emotional truth. I have a rather holistic approach to the art and craft of storytelling. Therefore, the session is designed to help attendees ‘Create Supercharged Content to Drive Traffic and Build Your Brand!’
Having My Way With Words: Storytelling and the Blogger
A story is the most powerful means of communicating a message. Let’s face it, we all love stories. We are born to hear them and create them. Stories are who we are. We all want to be heard and to connect…and that connection is strongest when we connect through stories.
My focus will be developing your skill as a storyteller. I consider myself a raconteur, narrator, romancer, chronicler, bard, fabulist, spinner of yarns and anecdotist. Others would call me a talker! Sandra Lee once called me, “The Wordsmith of all wordsmiths.” She referred to this blog as, “pure genius.”

Join us as we strive to help you unearth, identify and/or hone your unique voice and define your individual approach in the broad landscape of blog writing. I hope to ignite your thinking, reading and writing skills while we take a moment to ‘reconsider’ the way you approach your craft. Anyone can write about a product, but a truly great review informs, entertains and inspires the reader. There will be writing exercises designed to awaken and challenge your authentic voice.

This is just what I need to learn. I will have my recorder ready!!!
Can’t wait to meet you!!!
I wish I could be there for the conference! I could really use your help! Maybe next year. 🙂
