Review – God, I Know You’re There!

written by Rebecca E. Parsons

I was given a complimentary copy of the book from Frontgate Media. All opinions are my own.

God, I Know You’re There!

Where is God? Is He real?

God, I Know You're There Cover

Oh yes…He is there. Always there. Explaining God to a little one can be a little challenging. Teaching them about the presence of God is even more so. My Grandchildren love  the book God, I Know You’re There for many reasons! It is what I wanted when my children were young and didn’t have. The authors have solved an age old problem of teaching young children about God.

Moon God, I Know You're There

Lucy Fleming’s illustrations of children and animals and flowers, etc. are delightful and perfectly designed for a young child. The enchanting book is a board book format, great for bedtime reading and sharing. Kids can play with it and not hurt it. I his clever and sturdy. ave never seen a board book bound in this manner. It It is just the right length. It is a great lead in to prayer.

Poem God, I Know You're There

Author Bonnie Rickner Jensen’s  poetry tells the story at an age level that works for wee ones. It engages their imaginations and entertains them. The biggest selling point for me is that it is educational without being lesson like. If that makes any sense at all. The concepts are awesome like the moon, wind, and sky.

Wind, I can’t see you.

Still I know you’re there.

I feel you dance across my face

and rustle through my hair.

The publishers say, “Look closely and you can see God’s touch all over creation. Like the sun, God is warm. Like the stars, God is dazzling. Like the wind, God is all around, everywhere. God, I Know You’re There, by bestselling author Bonnie Rickner Jensen and illustrator Lucy Fleming, reminds children of the nearness and goodness of God. Children will discover that God never leaves their side, even if they can’t see or feel Him.”

Gardener God, I Know You're There

Each page will help children understand the many things in the world we can’t see, touch, or hear are just as real as God is. And even if God feels distant, He is real and He is near.
