My continuing motivation for this 90-Day Summer Simplifying Challenge stems from considering, internalizing, and shaping my mission. When motivation fades, I re-read my 90-Day Summer Simplifying Manifesto!! No mission is motivating until it is personal. The search for a simpler life has become a reflexive, daily habit. It is sustainable when it becomes habitual.

My Summer Simplifying Challenge
I am no longer content to go through the motions or settle for the status quo. I seem to be restlessly inclined to look for something more, something greater. Instead of wishing the circumstances were different, I have a strong desire to make them different. Instead of waiting for golden opportunities to appear, I find the gold in the opportunities at hand. I have the heart to pursue my Summer Simplifying Challenge with a personal sense of ownership as the Seeds of the New Me germinate.
Today’s Accomplishments
- One box opened, sorted and things placed into the ‘outta here’ boxes!
- Household cleaning tasks continue.
Today’s Setbacks
- None…I am filled with energy for the task at hand.
