My $200 Spent at Walmart.com
I visited Walmart.com to browse electronics. As a bonafide Boomer Geek Girl, I knew I would be buying something cool for the family!!! Please see my entire path to purchase in colorful photos here. I made a beeline for the electronics section…there are so many wonderful choices!!!
from Tablets to TVs, from computers to cell phones, from GPS systems to cameras…Walmart has it all. I browsed several items like the Wii bundles, the Tablets, the televisions, camera lenses and settled in on the e-readers. I love, love, love to read…books, magazines, cereal boxes…anything…
The reviews are what cinched the purchase for me…and the whole family will be able to use this. I placed the order and within 30 minutes I received a text telling me to come to my local Walmart here on the island to pick up my Kindle Fire….
We piled in the car and drove straight to the store…it took them about 10 minutes to find my Kindle Fire…and I was given a receipt and out I walked with my new tech toy!!!
This was really the easiest shopping experience I have ever had. It was the first time I had ordered something online for pickup at a local store. It went very smoothly. I was back home with my new tech toy within 20 minutes!!!
The Boomer Geek Girl is going to be entertained for quite some time!!! Thank you Here’s to Mom and Mastercard!!!
How are you liking your Kindle Fire so far? I wanted to get one, but the reviews were all over the place. I’m not looking for it to compete with the iPad, but do you think it does a great job for watching videos, playing games and surfing the web?
It looks cool!!
it is awesome so far…i am thrilled with it. i love to read, so this puts all books at my fingertips in minutes…that is way cool. it surfs great, does twitter and e-mail as well as my computer. i do not watch videos, but i am sure it does that great. i do play some games and they are great also!!! i give it 2 thumbs up!!!
Congrats to you Rebecca!! Will you be rooting it? Nothing sweeter than the android market.
This was a great way to make some stocking stuffer change!!
